Re: Porkchops, I Have No Problems.....

Hi,

I agree totally with Sue from Washington, when it comes to porkchops, slow cooking is the key to flavor and tenderness. Pork chops are very lean and have no fat except what is on the rim, so slow cooking is the key to it all. Also, a good marinade of lemon, orange juice, oregano and crushed garlic works wonders!!

My Mom's recipe for pork chops would make your mouth water as they are fork tender and the flavor, oh my, to die for!! The recipe for Hazel Prudhomme's Stuffed Pork is another great recipe. Very tender indeed!!

In answer to the question relative to Corn Beef and Cabbage...I do not make that because the flavors are just tooooo bland for our taste buds. We had an eye round roast dinner on Sunday that was wonderful!!
