Karen - England re: Kosher Salt

I won't pretend that I really know too much about Kosher Salt. That said, it is a favorite of chefs, I gather because it has a much more coarse grain than regular table salt that we usually use. They seem to think that you can more easily judge the amount that you are using and there is something about the flavor that they really like. It is sold in rather large boxes in the grocery stores here. That is about all that I can tell you. Perhaps someone else can enlighten us further regarding Kosher Salt.
