Recipe: All Purpose Flavor Base

1/3 cup nutritional yeast flakes
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sage
3/4 tsp. paprika
3/4 tsp. thyme
3/4 tsp. garlic powder
3/4 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. dried marjoram
1/4 tsp. rosemary
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Combine all ingredients in a blender and pulverize. Store in an air-tight container.
Use 1-2 tablespoons of this seasoning mix to boost the flavor of soups, stews, sauces, dips, dressings and casseroles, and try it as a coating for blackening fish or tofu.
Per serving: calories 37, fat 0.3g, 5% calories from fat, cholesterol 0mg, protein 4.4g, carbohydrates 5.5g, fiber 3.8g, sugar 0.5g, sodium 595mg, diet points 0.5.
