Baked Rice and Fish Fillets with Cheese Sauce
2 pounds fish fillets
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 cans (11-ounce each) Cheddar cheese condensed soup
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
3 cups cooked rice
Paprika
Season fish fillets with salt and pepper; set aside.
Combine soup, onion powder, milk and mustard.
Spoon rice into greased shallow baking dish; place fillets on top. Pour sauce over fish; sprinkle with paprika, if desired.
Bake at 400 degrees 20 to 30 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with fork.
