Chunky Peanut Butter Chew
Source: Possum Kingdom Lake Cookbook

3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup Karo light corn syrup
3/4 cup Skippy Super Chunk peanut butter (or creamy)
6 cups favorite ready-to-eat breakfast cereal (Special K, wheaties whatever)

Line 13x9x2 inch baking pan with foil; grease foil. In 3-quart saucepan stir sugar and corn syrup. Stirring occasionally, bring to boil over medium heat and boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter until smooth. Add cereal; stir to coat well. Press evenly into pan; cool. Remove from pan; cut into squares. Store in tightly covered container. Makes 4 dozen (1 1/2") squares

NOTE: sometimes I frost them with melted chocolate chips.
