Title: Fudge Icing
From: Jim Clark
Newsgroups: rec.food.cooking
Date: 1999/01/13
A quick Fudge Icing that Mom made:
1/8 cup butter (yup butter)
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
milk to smooth
chopped black walnuts optional.
Melt butter and chocolate in saucepan over low heat.
Slowly stir in powdered sugar until right consistency to spread (still over
heat) - mixture will have an oily look.
Add vanilla
Stir over heat slowly whisking in dribbles of milk until creamy smooth texture.
Spread immediately over brownies or cake and let cool.
Works every time.
