Recipe: Cranberry Sauce Mold (2) (using strawberry jello and crushed pineapple)

1 pkg. fresh cranberries
1/4 unpeeled thin-skinned orange (remove seeds)
1 apple, peeled and cored (remove seeds)
1 cup walnuts or pecans
1 cup sugar
1 cup crushed pineapple
3 small boxes (3 oz each) strawberry Jello
4 cups boiling water
Grind cranberries in a food processor or grinder, not too finely. Grind the orange, apple and nuts. Combine the fruit mixture with the sugar and pineapple.
Mix the Jello and boiling water until dissolved. Add to the fruit mixture. Chill until set.
CRANBERRY SAUCE MOLD
2 pkgs. (3 oz each) strawberry Jello
1 can whole berry or jellied cranberry sauce
1 (6 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Prepare Jello according to package directions. Refrigerate.
As Jello begins to thicken, fold in other ingredients. Return to refrigerator to finish the mold.
Important: Do not fold in other ingredients until Jello begins to thicken.
