Easy Picnic Taco Salad
1 head lettuce shredded
3 tomatoes chopped
2 cups cubed colby cheese
1 red onion sliced
sliced black olives (optional)
1 small jar mayonnaise
1 small jar salsa
1 large bag plain tortilla chips
Place all veggies in a large bowl. Make a dressing of the salsa (I use medium in terms of hotness) and mayo to taste. I usually use both smalls jars. Just before serving pour the dressing over the veggies and add the tortilla chips. Mix gently with salad spoons. Enjoy!
P.S. This salad needs to be eaten right away for optional crunchiness.
