Recipe(tried): Fruit Cobbler

This recipe has a notation next to it in my handwriting that says, "Very Good, 5/93" It comes from a Make-A-Wish cookbook.

FRUIT COBBLER

1 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 up milk
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter
FOR THE TOPPING:
1/2 cup sugar or honey
berries or fruit

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Stir together flour, 3/4 cup sugar, baking powder, salt, and then milk. Reserve.

Melt butter and pour into a 13x9-inch baking pan. Pour in reserved mixture. Top with berries or fruit and 1/2 cup sugar or honey.

Bake for 45 minutes or until not doughy in the middle.
