Recipe(tried): Grilled Fish

GRILLED FISH

1 1/4 lbs. fish fillets (halibut or orange roughy)
5-6 new potatoes
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
1/4 chicken bouillon cube
2 T. olive oil
1 T. brown sugar
2 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 tsp. ground ginger

Whisk everything but the potatoes and fish in a small bowl to make marinade. Marinate fish fillets for 30 minutes. Prepare new potaotes. Heat 1 cup salted water to a boil; add potatoes. Cover, heat until boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, tightly covered, until tender 30 -35 minutes, drain.

Remove fish from marinade. Set oven control to 550/or broil. Broil or grill fish for 10 minutes per inch of thickness or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Baste frequently with mariande while cooking. Makes 4 servings.

Serve with the boiled potatoes and a fresh green salad.
