Recipe(tried): Moist and Tender Pork Shoulder/ Boston Butt

Main Dishes - Pork, Ham
Hi June,
I always have good luck with this recipe.
4-6 # Boston Butt Pork Roast

Sprinkle pepper and garlic powder all over the meat.
Place in uncovered roaster and bake at 375 until meat is browned all over, turning the meat over after the top side is browned.
Add water to about half way up the side of the meat.
Put lid on roaster, turn the oven down to 325 , return roaster to oven.
Roast for 3-4 hours, or until tender.
I have also browned the meat on all sides in a skillet and then put it in the slow cooker with a couple of cups of water and let it cook on low all day or all night.
