Desserts - Frozen
PUDDING FREEZE

"Pudding gives you a head start in making this smooth and easy frozen dessert."

1 package (4-serving size) Jell-O pudding, not instant (any flavor except lemon)
1/4 cup sugar
2 cups milk
1 (4 1/2 oz.) container Cool Whip non-dairy whipped topping

Combine pudding mix, sugar and milk in saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil. Remove from heat. Cover surface with plastic wrap and chill.

Beat chilled pudding until creamy and blend in whipped topping. Pour into 8x4-inch loaf pan. Freeze 1 hour

Spoon pudding into bowl and beat with rotary beater or electric mixer until smooth but not melted. Return to pan or put into 1-quart mold and freeze until firm, about 3 to 4 hours.

Serve with ice cream sauce, if desired.

Makes 6-8 servings
