Recipe: Ramen Noodle Salad

Ramen Noodle Salad

2 whole chicken breasts, boiled and diced
4 Tbsp toasted slivered almonds
4 Tbsp sesame seeds
1 head raw cabbage, chopped
2 Pkgs Ramen (chicken flavor) broken and uncooked
4 stalks green onions, chopped.
4 Tbsp sugar
1 cup salad oil
2 pkgs Ramen seasoning mix from the Ramen packages
1-2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
6 Tbsp vinegar

In large bowl, mix chicken breasts, almonds sesame seeds, cabbage, Ramen (chicken flavor) and green onions. Mix sugar, salad oil, Ramen seasoning mix, salt, and pepper and vinegar. Toss dressing with the cabbage mixture. Marinate 15-24 hours. Stir occasionally.Makes 12 servings.

Additional suggestions:
Use pork with pork-flavored Ramen.
Use shrimp with oriental-flavor Ramen.
