Recipe: Spicy Apricot Chicken Wings

2 lb chicken wings, tips removed and disjointed
FOR THE MARINADE:
1 cup apricot preserves
2 tbsp cider vinegar
1 to 2 tsp hot sauce
1 tsp chili powder
1 cloves garlic, minced
Combine marinade ingredients.
Place chicken wings and 1/2 cup marinade in a ziploc bag and marinate overnight in the fridge. Refrigerate remaining marinade.
WHEN READY TO COOK:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a cookie sheet with foil.
Place wings in a single layer on prepared cookie sheet. Bring marinade to a boil and simmer 2-3 minutes; set aside.
Bake wings 30 minutes, brushing with marinade occasionally.
Serve with refrigerated marinade (warm or bring to room temperature before serving, if desired).
Servings: 8-10
