Recipe: Split Pea Soup (crockpot)

8 cups water
1 pkg. green split peas
1/2 pkg. barley
1 large ham hock
2 chicken bouillon cubes, crushed
1 (3 oz.) pkg cream cheese
Combine water, peas, barley, ham hock and bouillon in a crockpot and cook on high until tender, about 2 to 3 hours. Add more water if soup becomes too thick.
Melt cream cheese in soup after cooking.
