ARROZ CATALAN which had been adapted to our taste.
Here is the recipe:
6 servings
1 tsp olive oil
1 chopped onion
2 garlic cloves crushed
2 chorizos, sliced
1 chiccken cube with achiote-MAGGI
1/4 cup dry sherry
1 cup chopped cabbage
1 cup cooked white beans, drained
4 cps cooked white rice
2 cups green peas
Salt and pepper to taste
Heat the oil in a skillet and saut the onion, garlic, and chorizos, until brilliant in color. Add the chicken cube dissolved in a little water (1/4 cup of water), the sherry and let it boil. Add the rice, green peas and cook for a few minutes. Adjust the seasonings and serve. Both recipes are good for those times when you are in a hurry.
