Recipe: Blackberry Cobbler

Desserts - Fruit
I don't have the Great American Recipe Card for Blackberry Cobbler, but I did find one on the internet:

BLACKBERRY COBBLER

2 1/2 cups fresh blackberries
1/2 to 1 cup sugar (subjective ingredient so add according to your taste)
1 cup flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1/2 cup butter, melted

Mix blackberries and sugar; let stand 20 minutes or until fruit syrup forms.

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

In an ungreased 8-inch square pan mix together flour, baking powder, salt. Stir in milk and melted butter until well blended; spread evenly in pan.

Spoon blackberry mixture over batter.

Bake at 375 degrees for 45-55 minutes or until dough rises and is golden. Serve warm.

Servings: 8
