Cherry Nut Cake
Recipe By :clipping

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2/3 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
21 ounces cherry pie filling
1/2 cup nuts -- chopped

Combine all ingredients in one bowl and mix thoroughly. Pour into a 9 x 13 ungreased pan. Bake 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done. Serve with whipped
topping.

** I found that 35 minutes baking time my cake was done....but my oven may be too hot. Served this for Mother's Day with vanilla ice cream and it was wonderful.
