White Texas Sheetcake
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
20 ounces can crushed pineapple -- undrained
1 cup walnuts -- chopped
**Frosting
8 ounces package cream cheese -- softened
1/2 cup margarine -- softened
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Cream sugar and eggs together utnil smooth. Combine flour and baking soda. Add dry ingredients to egg mixture; mixing well. Stir in vanilla, pineapple and walnuts. Spread batter on greased and floured 18x2x1 inch jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 for 25 to 30 minutes. Let cake cool. Prepare frosting by blending cream cheese, margarine, vanilla and powdered sugar, beating until smooth. Spread frosting on cooled cake.
