Recipe: Crunchy Beef Casserole (using macaroni, tomatoes, and French fried onions)

CRUNCHY BEEF CASSEROLE
2 cups uncooked corkscrew macaroni
1 lb. ground beef
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can whole tomatoes
3/4 cup (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
3/4 cup chopped green pepper (optional)
1/4 tsp. seasoned salt
1 (2.8 oz.) can Durkee French fried onions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cook macaroni as directed on package. Drain.
Brown ground beef and drain fat.
Combine all ingredients, except fried onions. Pour into 2 quart greased casserole.
Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Uncover and top with fried onions. Bake 5 additional minutes.
