Recipe: Ham and Apple Bake

Ham and Apple Bake

2 ham slices, about 1/2-inch thick
2 cups thinly sliced apples
1 cup raisins
3 tablespoons light brown sugar, firmly packed
2/3 cup apple juice or cider

Place 1 slice of ham in a shallow baking dish; cover with apple slices, raisins, and sprinkle with brown sugar. Top with remaining slice of ham; pour apple juice over all. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Serve with sweet potatoes or rice and green vegetable.
Ham with apples serves 4 to 6.
