This is a family favorite at our home as well. I just use fresh (cleaned/sliced/blanched) carrots, and other desired veggies and add to ready made juice from a favorite jar of pickled sliced jalapenos. I do remove some of the peppers and save for other recipes. Let sit in the fridge for a week or so, tasting till your preference. The longer it sits, the hotter it will become. I do the same with carrots and kosher pickle juice too!
