Recipe(tried): Pinwheel Sandwiches

Sandwiches

We made these for my brother's wedding reception, a caterer friend gave us the recipe.

Pinwheel Sandwiches

White sliced loaf, with crusts trimmed off
Flavored cream cheese, at room temperature

Lay 2 slices of loaf, with edges overlapping about 1 inch, on bread board. Flatten slightly with rolling pin, sealing the overlapped area. Spread thinly with cream cheese (strawberry looks especially nice). Roll up from short side making a "jelly roll". Slice thinly, about 1/4 inch thick.

These looked very difficult but were in fact extremely easy. I put the leftover crusts in the freezer to use in my dressing.

I wish the ladies at my church would have a tea. I love the fancy finger foods. They are fun to look at and fun to eat.
