Recipe(tried): Quick Tandoori Fish

Quick Tandoori Fish
Serves 4

3/4 cup plain yogurt
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon pure ground chile powder or paprika
1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
4 fish fillets or fish steaks

Combine yogurt, garlic, cumin, chile powder or paprika, and turmeric in a small bowl, mixing well. Preheat the broiler. Line a baking sheet with foil. Arrange fish in a single layer on the foil. Brush exposed side with half the yogurt mixture. Broil 3 to 4 minutes, until glaze looks firm and begins to brown in spots. Turn fish over. Brush with remaining yogurt mixture. Broil 3 to 4 minutes longer.
