Ruth's Ground Beef Zucchini Casserole

1 pound lean ground beef
1 pound zucchini, unpeeled and chopped
3/4 pound sharp cheddar cheese, grated
seasoned salt to taste
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Salt and pepper to taste
3/4 cup crushed cornflakes

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Saute beef and onion together. Drain and reserve. Cook squash until tender. Drain. Put 1/2 of the meat mixture in a casserole dish that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Top with all of the squash and then the rest of the meat mixture. Cover with soup, then sprinkle with cheese. Top with crushed cornflakes.

Bake for 40 minutes.
