SAUSAGE AND PEPPERS
6 bell peppers, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 1/2 pounds sweet Italian sausage, sliced
1 (26 oz.) jar Ragu Robusto! Pasta Sauce
12 ounces rotelle (wagon wheel shaped pasta), cooked and drained (or other medium-shaped pasta)
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (about 8 oz.)
In a large skillet, cook peppers and garlic in oil until peppers are tender. Remove and set aside.
Add sausage; brown thoroughly. Drain fat.
In a large bowl, combine sausage, cooked peppers, pasta sauce and rotelle. Spoon into a 13x9-inch baking dish.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 to 45 minutes, or until heated through. Sprinkle with Parmesan and mozzarella cheeses. Bake 5 minutes or until cheese melts.
Makes 6 servings
