I know it's spring 'cause:

Misc.
My sweetie just came in the back door with his annual armload of pussywillows!
Every spring I get the first of them, and a little later, knowing how much I love the smell of them, he will stop by the roadside and pick a huge armload of the first lilacs. Lilac and pussywillows means never having to SAY I love you - they do it for him!! (He actually SAYS it too - but this is so special!!) It's always a tradition with him, and I always forget each year, until he walks through the door with them!! Bless him for remembering every year how to bring the light into my eyes - and the knowledge that I survived another winter on the mountain top.

Maybe it's bribery to get me out of this "room" and fix some dinner. Tonight I'm doing Ellie's pork chop recipe. Thanks, elle.
