Lilacs and pussywillows, oh how delightful!
Lilacs were my grandmother's favorite flower
and since she lived in Florida and I lived in Virginia
we were too many miles apart for me to take her some.
When she passed away on her 95th birthday, I planted a
lilac bush in her honor. It is now getting more flowers
on it each year and I planted 2 more last summer. Every-
time I see or smell a lilac I remember my wonderful
grandmother.
