Sprinklers and winter woolies

As far as the black and white kitty, one summer working at a camp, I sat outside on a bench till 3 a.m. waiting for one of those darling creatures to get off the porch of the cabin I lived in! Luckily, I had friends with me so we had a skunk avoidance party!

Now about the woolen suits, I haven't worn one but do have a cold water story. I was born in North Dakota and we moved to Kansas when I was 10. My Dad was a minister and was invited back to speak at the centennial celebration of the church in North Dakota. So, we went back and were camping at a lake not far from our former home. We decided to go for a morning swim and boy did we get the shock of our lives! We looked around to discover not only we were the only ones trying to swim - we were being watched by a group of fishermen out in a boat - all bundled up in parkas!

This got me to thinking, I would love to see Angel and her home, but wouldn't it make more sense at this time of year for her to COME HERE!!!! How about a sprinkler party here where it is HOT and we'll try another one there when we don't have to chip the ice off Angel's sprinkler!! When is your summer season Angel??

Oh, and my tip - if you're going swimming up north - check the temperature!!
