Broccoli Salad

DRESSING:
1 cup mayo
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup red wine vinegar

SALAD:
Large bunch of broccoli, flowerettes only (approximately 5 to 6 cups)
8 oz. fresh sliced mushrooms
1/2 large red onion (or more to taste)
8 oz. crisp bacon, crumbled
1/2 cup sunflower seeds

To make the dressing, whisk all dressing ingredients until smooth and well incorporated. Place salad ingredients in a large bowl. Add dressing to salad 1/2 hour before serving and toss. Toss again right before serving.
