Recipe: Five Grain Pancakes

Five Grain Pancakes:
Yield: Makes about 36 pancakes 4-inches in diameter.
(Flours may be adjusted or substituted to suit your taste.)
2 c. buttermilk
1 c. sour cream
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbls. sugar
1/4 c. All Bran cereal
1 c .white flour
1/4 c. rye flour
1/4 c. soy meal flour
1/4 c. buckwheat flour
1/4 c. cornmeal
2 tsp. baking soda dissolved in 1/4 c. warm water
Combine in large bowl buttermilk, sour cream, eggs, salt & sugar. Add bran. Sift flours & cornmeal together & beat into liquid mixture. Stir in baking soda.
Cook as you would any pancake on a hot griddle or skillet. Serve with butter & jam and/or maple syrup.
