Japanese Cucumber Potato Salad

Basically, mash potatoes like you usually do (add milk, salt, all that) and then add a dollop of mayonnaise to it all. mix thoroughly to combine, and add sliced cucumber to it, not a whole lot, like maybe half of a small cucumber per two potatoes, mix again, and chill. I like to put freshly cracked black pepper on mine right before eating.

My mom makes a yummy soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and black pepper dressing (no recipe, done strictly by taste) that is good.
