Recipe: Wild Rice Ring with Winter Vegetables (using long grain and wild rice mix)

Cook 3 packages (6 ounces each) wild and white rice mix and combine with 8 tablespoons melted butter: press into buttered 9-inch ring mold. (Can be prepared 1 day in advance.)
Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees F. Cool and invert on serving platter.
Cook 2 pounds carrots, 4 cups Brussels sprouts and 4 cups pearl onions. Mix with melted butter, honey, and chestnuts (all to taste).
Spoon vegetables into center of rice ring.
Makes 12 servings
