ISO: Aji sauce recipe

Misc.
The manager at a local Peruvian restaurant tells me that the smooth green chile sauce they call aji is made from blenderized jalapenos, lettuce, and mayonaise. Although I'm sure this is most likely an Americanized version of aji, no other recipe for aji on the internet is similar. Can anyone help? Thank you.
