Saucy Party Meatballs
Source: Southern Living Magazine, July, 1980
Makes 3 dozen

1 1/2 lb Ground beef
1 Egg; slighty beaten
1/2 c Breadcrumbs, soft
1 sm Onion; grated
1/2 ts Salt
1/8 ts Pepper
16 oz Cranberry sauce, whole
16 oz Tomato sauce
8 oz Cranberry sauce, whole

Combine first 7 ingredients; mix well, and shape into 1" balls. combine 16 oz can of cranberry sauce and tomato sauce in a large saucepan; heat thoroughly. Add meatballs; cover and simmer 50 to 55 minutes or until done. Add remaining cranberry sauce; heat thoroughly. Transfer to chafing dish, and keep warm.
