Recipe: Roasted Asparagus with Asiago

Side Dishes - Vegetables
ROASTED ASPARAGUS WITH ASIAGO

2 lb. asparagus
1 Tbs. olive oil
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
1/4 tsp. salt
3 oz. Asiago cheese

Remove woody stems from stalks of the Asparagus by bending the stalks and snapping of the ends.

In a baking pan gently toss asparagus with oil, pepper and salt; spread evenly.

Bake in a 400 degree F oven for 15 minutes.

Using the largest part of your cheese grater, grate Asiago

When asparagus are almost cooked, sprinkle with cheese and return to oven for 2-4 minutes to allow it to melt.
