Recipe: Easy Deep Dish Apple Pie (using refrigerated crescent dinner roll dough)

2 cans (1 lb. each) apple pie filling
1 cup (4 oz.) shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup raisins
1 can (8 oz.) refrigerated crescent dinner roll dough
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Heat oven to 375F.
Spoon pie filling into 12x8-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese and raisins.
Unroll both halves of refrigerated dough into flat rectangular sheets. Fit to cover baking dish.
Combine sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle evenly over dough.
Bake at 375F for 25 minutes.
Top with cheese slices, if desired.
