HAM AND CORN FRITTERS

1/2 cup ground cooked ham
1 (8 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
1 tablespoon grated onion
2/3 cup flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup milk or corn liquid
Fat for deep-fat frying
Mix ham, corn, and onion together; set aside.
Sift dry ingredients together. Add to corn and ham mixture. Add liquid and mix well.
Drop by teaspoonfuls into hot fat (360 degrees F). Fry until golden brown. Drain.
Makes 18 fritters
