Recipe: Lemon Loaf with Lemon Glaze

LEMON LOAF

SIFT..
1 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
STIR in..
2 tsp lemon rind
1 tsp lemon juice
CREAM..
1/2 cup softened butter
BEAT in..
1 cup sugar, beat until fluffy.
ADD..
2 eggs, mix
Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture.
Alternately with 1/2 cup milk.
Bake in 350 oven,65-70 min.

LEMON GLAZE ICING:
1/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice, drizzle over loaf that has been cooled for 5 min.
