Stuffin'-Topped Halibut

Makes 4 servings
2 cups soft bread crumbs
1/2 cup squeeze margarine
1/2 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 teaspoon sage
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 frozen halibut steaks, 3/4 inch thick (thawed)
Combine crumbs, margarine, celery, onion, and seasonings; mix well. Place fish in 11 3/4 x 7 1/2-inch baking dish; top with crumbs mixture. Bake at 350 degrees F 30-35 minutes or until crumbs mixture is golden brown and fish flakes easily with a fork.
Variation: Substitute salmon steaks for halibut and substitute dill weed for sage.
