Vidalia Onion Pie
Recipe by: Pat Campbell

3 cups Vidalia onions; sliced
3 tbsp melted butter
1 baked pie shell; deep disk
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cups sour cream
3 eggs; beaten
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese; shredded
3 slices bacon; (cooked)

Cook onions in butter until brown. Spoon into pie shell. Blend milk and 1/4 cup of the sour cream. Blend salt flour and rest of sour cream. Combine both, add eggs and cheese, and pour over onions. Bake 30 minutes at 325. Garnish with crisp crumbled bacon.
