Recipe: Warm Caramel Apple Topping (using canned pie filling)

WARM CARAMEL APPLE TOPPING

1 (21 oz.) can Comstock or Wilderness More Fruit Apple Fruit Filling or Topping
1/2 cup caramel ice cream topping
1/3 cup orange juice
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 1/4 quart vanilla ice cream or 6 slices pound cake
Salted peanuts, optional

In a saucepan over low heat, simmer the fruit filling, caramel topping, orange juice and nutmeg for 5 minutes or until heated through.

Serve warm over ice cream or pound cake. Top with peanuts, if desired.
