ISO: rinderwurst memories
Misc.I grew up on a farm near Tripoli, Iowa. My mother used to buy this at a butcher shop in Nashua Iowa in the early fifties. She would fry it and drizzle Karo syrup on top of it. My sister and I have since moved to California and can hardly wait to try out this recipe. We remember it being very soft and black. Thanks for the recipe and the memories!
