Recipe: Fettuccine Carbonara (using Alfredo sauce)

Main Dishes - Pasta, Sauces
FETTUCCINE CARBONARA

1 (12 oz.) box fettuccine noodles
1 cup frozen green peas
1 (16 oz.) jar Ragu Light Parmesan Alfredo Sauce
4 slices turkey bacon, crisp-cooked and crumbled
FOR SERVING (OPTIONAL):
ground black pepper
grated Parmesan cheese

Cook fettuccine according to package directions, adding peas during last 2 minutes of cooking; drain and set aside.

In 2-quart saucepan, heat sauce; stir in bacon.

To serve, toss sauce with hot fettuccine and peas. Sprinkle, if desired, with ground black pepper and grated Parmesan cheese.

Makes 6 servings
