Recipe: Asian Chicken (crock pot)

Asian Chicken (crock pot)
rec.food.cooking/Lawrence C. Spencer/2000
Makes 5-6 servings

5 or 6 chicken leq quarters
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
2 tablespoons crushed red pepper or 3/4 tsp cayenne pepper to taste
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds

Separate chicken thighs from drumsticks.
Rinse chicken and dry with paper towels.
Place chicken in slow cooker.
In medium bowl combine all ingredients except sesame seeds.
Pour over chicken.
Cover and cook on Low about 5 hours or until tender.
Remove to platter and sprinkle sesame seed over chicken.
