Recipe: Crockpot Onion Pot Roast

Crockpot Onion Pot Roast
rec.food.cooking/Donna (Ladibugz77)/1999

1 envelope Onion Soup Mix
3 lb. lean beef pot roast

Trim excess fat from pot roast.
Sprinkle soup mix on bottom of crockpot; add roast.
Cover and cook on LOW for 10 hours or on HIGH for 5 hours.
Pour accumulated juices into a saucepan; skim off fat; add flour-water paste (3 Tbsp. flour mixed with 3 Tbsp. water) and bring to a boil, stirring constantly until thickened.
Serve over sliced meat.
