Recipe(tried): Fresh Peach Crunb Pie

Fresh Peach Crunb Pie

4 c. sliced fresh peaches
2 1/2 T. minute tapioca
3/4 c. sugar
dash salt
1 to 2 T lemon juice
Topping:
1/3 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 1/2 T. soft oleo
1/4 c. flour

1 9 inch pie crust

Combine all ingredients for pie filling and set aside.
Mix al ingredients for crumb topping until crumbs are the size of large peas.
Put peach filling into pie crust. Sprinkle with crumb topping. Bake at 425 45 to 50 minutes or until syrup boils wuth heavy bubbles that do not burst.

I have made this pie for years. 38 to be exact!!!
