PALMER-BEECH EASY PEACH COBBLER
1 stick margarine or butter
1 cup flour
1 cup self-rising flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 cup milk
1 large can sliced peaches in heavy syrup
Melt margarine or butter in a large baking dish. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and milk. Pour this over the melted butter or margarine. Pour canned peaches
and syrup over the flour mixture. Do not stir. Bake at 350 degress for about 45 minutes.
This has been a family favorite for years. My mama always made it for my daughter. Even though I use the same exact recipe, my daughter still says that
"Mamo's peach cobbler tasted better." I told her it must have been the love that Mamo put in each dish that she made. Enjoy!
