Peach Kuchen
Recipe By : K of C Wives Cookbook

8 fresh peaches -- sliced
or 1 large can sliced peaches
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter -- softened
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/4 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
4 eggs -- slightly beaten
1 pint sour cream

Cream together sugar and butter until fluffy. Sift together salt, baking powder, flour and cinnamon. Add to sugar mixture and mix as for pie crust. Reserve 1/3
cup. Press remainderonto bottomof 9 x 13 inch pan. Arrange fruit on crust in an attractive pattern. Sprinkle reserved crumbs on fruit. Bake at 375 degrees for
15 minutes. Mix egg yolks and sour creamtogether; pour over crumbs. Bake 25 minutes longer or until set. Cool and cut. Good served warm or cold.
