Recipe(tried): Lettuce Salad with Monticello Dressing

Lettuce Salad w/ Monticello Dressing

3 heads Bibb Lettuce
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
6 drops of Tabasco
1 tsp Dijon Mustard
Juice of 1 lemon
freshly ground pepper
1/2 chopped red bell pepper
3/4 cup olive oil
1/2 tsp chopped chives
3 slices crisp Bacon crumbled
1 hard boiled egg chopped

Separate leaves from lettuce heads. In mixing bowl, mix vinegar, salt, Tabasco, mustard, lemon juice, ground pepper & chopped red bell pepper. Whisk oil in, beating constantly until thickened. Add chives & stir. Toss with lettuce leaves. Sprinkle with crumbled bacon and chopped eggs.
